Is It Really Her Fault?

Not too long ago, I was having lunch at a local cafe and couldn’t help but to overhear a gentleman (who I can only assume is a manager, or possibly even an owner, of a local business) giving one of his buddies an earful about his “problem” employee. To hear him tell it, you would believe that this poor young lady fell off of the short bus as a child. Apparently, in the many years that she has been employed with this man’s company, she’s made one mistake after another- many of which have cost that company dearly in lost time and revenue, as well as helped to tarnish their reputation for the quality of service the they provide.
